Cataratas Bijagua Lodge
Cataratas Bijagua Logde is located in Bijagua downtown, not so far from our house Casa Villa Jade! The waterfall has crystal clear waters to take a dip after 1 1/2 hour hiking on very beautiful trails between the river and the mountains.
The trail is 4,7 kilometers long, roundtrip, where you can admire differente type of forests. They recently inaugurated an incredible viewpoint towards the mountains of the Miravalles Volcano!
You can visit Cataratas Bijagua Lodge any time, the rate for non-residents is US $6 and for residents is ₡2000.
Take a walk between trees in hanging bridges
At Heliconias Rainforest Lodge you can discover what it is like to be in the trees 😍, i’ts an easy trail that can take up to 1hour walking through three different canopy levels.
and if you book in advance, after a 45-minute walk on the mountain, you will discover the Laguna Danta, an old crater of the Tenorio Volcano.

¡Muchos no saben que dentro del Parque Nacional está prohibido bañarse en el río! Existen puntos accesibles a bañistas fuera del parque espectaculares, donde se puede hacer actividades como tubing y cabalgatas en calles aledañas.
Many do not know that bathing in the river is prohibited within the National Park! There are spectacular points accessible to bathers outside the park, where you can do activities such as tubing and horseback riding in nearby streets.
